Job Descriptions:

Omaid Afghanistan Humanitarian Services (OAHS) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Programme Incharge to lead our Programmes in various thematic areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Programmes, developing proposals, and fostering partnerships with national and international NGOs. This role requires strong leadership, management, and coordination skills, as well as proficiency in multiple languages.

Job Requirements:

Job Description:

- Programme Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Programmes in health, protection, education, food security and agriculture, livelihood, women empowerment, nutrition, WASH, natural disaster, and refugee returnee.

- Proposal Development: Write concept notes, project proposals, and reports for various thematic areas.

- Fundraising: Identify and pursue funding opportunities to increase the organization's financial portfolio.

- Partnership Development: Establish and maintain partnerships with national and international NGOs.

- Donor Engagement: Arrange and attend donor meetings, ensuring effective communication and engagement.

- Report Writing: Prepare and submit regular programme reports to senior management team.

- Skills:

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Proposal development, research, and analysis.
  • Collaboration and coordination.
  • Proficiency in IT.
  • Fluency in Dari, Pashto, and English languages.

OAHS Allowance:

- Probationary Period: A three-month contract with a stipend as per the organization's salary scale.

- Contract Extension: Upon successful completion of the probationary period, a one-year contract will be signed with a salary as per the organization's salary scale, based on performance.

- Volunteer Registration: The candidate will be registered as a volunteer in OAHS's HRMIS and may be considered for permanent employment after a successful probationary period.

- Termination: Either party may terminate or cancel the contract during the probationary period.

- Certificate and Recommendation: A certificate and recommendation letter will be provided at the end of the probationary period.

- Monthly Allowances: Food, transport costs, and a credit card will be provided during the probationary period.
