Society Educational Awareness Research Consultancy and Health (SEARCH) Organization is an independent registered non-government and nonprofit civil society organization. SEARCH Organization prime motto is capacity building and services delivery to the deprived and marginalized people of the society. In 2015 a group of educated, dynamic and like-minded youth working in the development sector, got together to establish an organization, for addressing the most urgent and pressing needs of the people of Afghanistan.

Job Descriptions:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, activities, and timelines under the guidance of the Project Manager.
  • Support the coordination of project activities, including logistics, procurement, and distribution of materials for Child Friendly Spaces.
  • Collaborate closely with community stakeholders, including local authorities, schools, community leaders, and parents, to promote participation and engagement in project activities.
  • Facilitate and support training sessions, workshops, and community meetings related to Child Friendly Spaces and child protection.
  • Monitor project activities and provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in the collection, compilation, and analysis of data and information related to project monitoring and evaluation.
  • Contribute to the preparation of narrative reports, case studies, and success stories highlighting project achievements and impact.
  • Ensure compliance with project budgets, financial guidelines, and reporting requirements.
  • Support the documentation and dissemination of best practices, lessons learned, and innovations in Child Friendly Space programming.
  • Assist in maintaining effective communication and coordination with project partners, beneficiaries, and stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, international development, humanitarian affairs, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project coordination, Child Protection, Case management project implementation, or related field, preferably within an NGO or humanitarian organization.
  • Knowledge of child protection, CP case management, Child Friendly Space methodologies, and humanitarian standards is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages spoken in the project area is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools.
  • Commitment to child rights, protection
