Job Purpose:
The Disability Inclusion officer will work on integrating and mainstreaming disability across the UNFPA interventions in Afghanistan and provide expert and context specific advice on this to IMC and respective UNFPA partners. This officer will oversee the integration of disability inclusion across all program activities, provide targeted training to IMC staff and UNFPA partners, and ensure accurate and comprehensive reporting on disability inclusion efforts. By having a dedicated officer, we can ensure that the specific needs of women with disabilities are consistently addressed, and that our programs are both inclusive and effective. S/He will work closely with the Program managers and technical Coordinator, who will guide /provide expertise in integrating and mainstreaming disability inclusion across all UNFPA funded interventions.reporting on disability inclusion efforts.
