Job Descriptions:

Objective:  

1. Mainly responsible for managing oilfield surface construction projects, including participating in pre-project planning, feasibility study report review, preliminary review of design, construction, completion acceptance, and production plan, and organizing expert meetings.

2. Develop and implement management rules and regulations for surface construction projects such as oil, gas, and water pipeline networks, roads, and stations in oil fields, to ensure the safe operation and environmental protection of surface construction systems.

3. On-site supervision and management of the progress, quality, and other aspects of oilfield surface construction projects to ensure the smooth completion of the project.

4. Coordinate and solve various problems that arise in oilfield surface construction projects, ensuring timely production and safe operation of the surface projects after completion.

5. Organize and coordinate the management and training of personnel in oilfield surface engineering to improve the technical level and work efficiency of employees.

6. Participate in the budget preparation and cost control of oilfield surface engineering to ensure the investment return rate and economic benefits of the project.

7. Responsible for assisting and organizing the preparation and initial review of bidding and evaluation plans for oilfield surface engineering, submitting them to relevant leaders and departments for approval, and ensuring the standardized operation and effective implementation of bidding and tendering work.

8. Participate in contract negotiations and signings for oilfield surface engineering and safeguard the company's interests.

9. Complete other tasks assigned by the leadership, comply with the company's various work regulations, and maintain the company's image and -reputation.

Terms and conditions:

1. Employment Type:

Full-time position, based at Kashkari Oilfield, Sar-e-Pol Province.

Contract duration as per company policy (renewable based on performance and project requirements).

2. Working Hours:

Standard working hours: 8-12 hours per day.

Shift-based work may apply (day/night shifts).

3. Location of Work:

Primarily based at Jawz Jan and Sar-e-Pol Oilfields.

Flexibility to work in other project sites or locations as directed by the company.

4. Compensation and Benefits:

Salary as per company scale, paid monthly.

Accommodation and meals are provided at the worksite (as applicable).

Transportation to and from the worksite provided by the company.

Standard health insurance coverage.

Other allowances as per company policies.

5. Code of Conduct:

Adherence to all company rules, policies, and safety regulations.

Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while on duty.

Respectful and professional behavior towards supervisors, engineers, and team members.

6. Leave and Holidays:

Annual leave and public holidays following company and labor law policies.

Sick leave and emergency leave as per company policy (requires proper documentation).

7. Health and Safety:

Strict compliance with safety protocols in pipeline operations and oilfield activities.

Regular participation in safety training and toolbox meetings.

Immediate reporting of any safety hazards, injuries, or incidents to supervisors.

8. Work Responsibilities:

Perform tasks related to pipeline installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair.

Follow instructions from the Surface Engineering Department.

Ensure tools, equipment, and machinery are used properly and maintained.

Support team efforts to meet project timelines and operational goals.

9. Termination of Employment:

Termination due to misconduct, safety violations, or poor performance as per company policy.

Resignation requires prior written notice as per contract terms.

10. Compliance:

Full compliance with Afghan labor laws and company regulations.

Adherence to environmental and operational guidelines to ensure sustainable practices.

Job Requirements:

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in  a related field.
  • Advanced certifications in logging technologies or reservoir engineering are an advantage.

Experience

  • At least 10 years of experience in reservoir logging, with a focus on crude oil extraction.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role, managing complex logging operations.
  • Proven expertise in interpreting and utilizing reservoir data to enhance production.

Technical Skills

  • Mastery of advanced logging tools, including nuclear logging, borehole imaging, and resistivity techniques.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Schlumberger Techlog, Petrel, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong understanding of reservoir engineering fundamentals, including enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methods.

Behavioral Competencies

  • Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on precision and innovation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong, collaborative relationships.

Language Proficiency
