Job Description
- Planning and Data Collection: Plan and conduct data collection for beneficiary selection based on eligibility criteria and ensure the distribution of assistance to beneficiaries.
- Active Participation: Participate in orientation sessions and capacity-building activities to enhance project execution.
- Assistance in Project Planning: Assist the Project Manager in planning and conducting surveys for affected categories and facilitating the distribution of assistance.
- Door-to-Door Survey: Conduct door-to-door surveys and assessments of the affected population using the HEAT form with KOBO mobile data collection.
- Data Sharing: Share the collected data and information with the Project Manager for further analysis and reporting.
- Collection from Government Sources: Collect data and information from relevant governmental departments to support the project.
- Review and Recheck Data: Review and validate the collected data on the ground to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Survey Equipment Maintenance: Ensure surveying equipment (e.g., tablets) is in good working condition by performing regular maintenance.
- Field Travel: Travel frequently to project sites in the targeted districts of Kabul province to monitor activities and conduct surveys.
- Control and Organize Sessions: Organize and supervise sessions for the distribution of assistance to beneficiaries.
- Post-Distribution Monitoring (PDM): Participate in post-distribution monitoring to assess the effectiveness of the assistance and identify areas for improvement.
- Regular Coordination and Meetings: Regularly participate in coordination meetings and staff meetings at the provincial or district level to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Reporting: Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on survey and distribution activities to the Project Manager.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as required by the Project Manager to support the successful completion of the project.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Veterinary Science, Social Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of progressive work experience in survey, assessment, and data collection with INGOs or Afghan NGOs.
- Strong command of Pashto and Dari languages.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Proven skills in survey, distribution, and beneficiary selection.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel frequently and spend time in the field.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Proficiency in using KOBO software for mobile data collection
