Job Descriptions:

JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Manager at Muslim English Language Institute (MELI) will be responsible for overseeing and executing all marketing activities for the institute. This role involves developing a comprehensive marketing strategy, creating a strong brand identity for MELI, managing promotional materials, coordinating with advertisement companies, and planning and managing events. The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for leading digital media campaigns, training and providing feedback to counselors, and participating in the development and testing of the MELI app.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for MELI.
  • Create and establish MELI as a prominent brand in the English learning industry.
  • Oversee camera work, motion graphics, and still graphics to ensure the smooth operation of ads and promotional materials.
  • Consult with the CEO to make informed decisions on enhancing marketing department activities.
  • Create and lead seasonal advertisement campaigns to attract more students to MELI.
  • Manage digital media campaigns using various channels, including email marketing and telemarketing.
  • Communicate and negotiate with advertisement companies, including signing contracts for purchasing advertisement services.
  • Delegate tasks to marketing department employees to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Oversee all activities related to MELI Studio, including purchasing equipment, renting props, and scheduling photo and video shoots.
  • Plan and manage events such as graduation ceremonies, opening ceremonies, seminars, workshops, and conferences.
  • Coordinate with counselors to lead marketing campaigns, improve sales, conversion rates, and increase walk-ins.
  • Train counselors, observe their performance, and provide regular feedback to enhance their performance.
  • Communicate with Area Account Managers (AAMs) to produce customized promotional materials for MELI branches.
  • Conduct surveys and public polls to gather feedback and enhance MELI's operations.
  • Lead MELI brochure distribution campaigns to attract more students.
  • Participate in CEO meetings to seek guidance and make decisions to enhance marketing activities.
  • Deal with different vendors regarding billboard rent prices and printing costs.
  • Handle administration activities of the marketing department and coordinate with other line departments.
  • Participate in the UI design of the MELI app.
  • Participate in the testing and coordination with Karimi Info-tech to enhance the UI of the MELI app.
  • Adherence to MELI policies and procedures to ensure a smooth and productive working experience.
  • Undertaking official provincial travels as required.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by the CEO and GOM.

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in BBA, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in marketing.
  • Knowledge of professional cameras and lighting.
  • Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, After Effects, storyboards, and sketching.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess qualities of humility, maturity, respectfulness, honesty, and integrity.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Have command on both National Languages (Dari & Pashto)
