Job Descriptions:

The Digital Marketing Manager will contribute significantly to the planning, execution, and enhancement of our online marketing strategies. Reporting to the Country Representative for Afghanistan, this position will focus on refining Adroit Associates' digital presence, elevating brand visibility, and driving online lead generation. This role requires active collaboration with various teams and a solid grasp of marketing analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of digital campaigns. An ideal candidate would possess a passion for marketing, technology, and an interest in the international development sector.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Strategy Development and Implementation

  • Plan and execute digital marketing initiatives across diverse channels like SEO/SEM, social media, Email Marketing, display, and paid advertising.
  • Manage and implement an annual strategic Digital Marketing plan, encompassing all communication mediums, targeting specific performance objectives.
  • Create and execute content and digital marketing strategies aimed at engaging target audiences, generating leads, and directing traffic to the website.

Content Creation and Management

  • Developing and implementing a content strategy such as website copy, social media posts, blog posts, email campaigns, infographics, and video content for the website and social media channels.
  • Work with the team and other department heads to develop and produce high-quality marketing collateral in accordance with the brand voice and messaging across all digital channels.

Social Media and Website Management

  • Manage and grow effective social media presence across all platforms.
  • Manage the company's website and social media presence, ensuring that it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines.

Performance Analysis and Optimization

  • Track and analyse website and digital marketing performance, using data-driven insights and tactics to optimize strategies and make recommendations for improvement.

Trend Analysis and Team Collaboration

  • Keep abreast of the latest digital marketing trends, sharing insights with the team and integrating innovative ideas into audience-targeting strategies.
  • Provide strategic insights to the marketing and communications team.

Work Planning, Coordination, and Communication

  • Develop and implement a work plan for digital marketing activities, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.
  • Prepare work plans for team members, outlining key tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines.
  • Facilitate internal communication and collaboration with various departments to ensure smooth execution of digital marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, vendors, and partners as needed for digital marketing campaigns

 Other Responsibilities:

  • Execute additional tasks and duties assigned by the supervisor to support broader marketing and communication objectives.
  • Provide training and capacity-building support to internal teams on digital marketing tools and best practices.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, marketing, communications or any related field.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in the sector, involving corporate communications, original writing and editing, and Digital Marketing.
  • Experience with specific tools or platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, CRM systems (like Salesforce or HubSpot), email marketing platforms (like Mailchimp or Constant Contact), and content management systems (like WordPress).

Key competencies for Digital Marketing Manager:

  1. Strategic Thinking:
  • Ability to develop, implement, and adjust digital marketing strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  1. SEO (Search Engine Optimization):
  • Proficiency in optimizing website content for search engines, understanding keyword research, and implementing on-page/off-page SEO techniques.
  1. Data Analytics and Interpretation:
  • Ability to analyze digital marketing metrics, derive insights from data, and make informed decisions to optimize campaigns.
  1. SEM (Search Engine Marketing):
