Scope of work:
ASLO has a good track record and extensive experience in implementation educational support programs funded by various donors in Badghis province. ASLO in cooperation with its donors will support education in emergencies and other educational related activities in Ghormach district of Badghis province. This position is responsible for mobilization activities in Education in Emergencies (EiE) and Community Based Education (CBE) in Ghormach district of Badghis province.
Under the overall supervision of the Education Supervisor, he/she shall coordinate and supervise the community mobilization process to enable the communities to discuss, prioritize and prepare for well constructions and community hygiene & sanitation education in target districts. He/she will act as a facilitator on district level to obtain good working relations between DED/PED, schools management shuras, hub-schools, host communities, IDPs and migrated communities and also between other actors involved in the local community development.
The Community Mobiliser reports to the Education Supervisor in respective Ghormach district office.
