The Norwegian Afghanistan Committee (NAC) is a member-based solidarity organization that has been working in support and solidarity with the Afghan people for more than 35 years. The Norwegian Afghanistan Committee (NAC) has a zero tolerance of sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (SEAH) both within the organization and of beneficiaries. Position Summary:
The basic role of this position is effective community mobilization to implement Life-Saving Shelter and Winterization Support Project for Paktika (Barmal) and Kabul (Shakar Dara) Provinces and Emergency Agriculture and Food Assistance Support to Affected Population in Daikundi, with a specific focus on winterization assistance, shelter assistance, cash for food and livestock-related activities. The post holder will ensure that project activities are well understood and accepted by the target community through proper community mobilization. They will also ensure that the neediest and eligible beneficiaries are selected based on the project criteria and will directly implement and oversee the implementation of cash for food and livestock projects.
