GAAC Holding Afghanistan is a subsidiary company of GAAC Holding SPV LTD, a UAE based company of global best in class partners with specialist in airport management and extensive experience working in emerging markets. • Carry out diagnosis, repairs and preventative maintenance on all systems to component level.
• Carry out the installation and commissioning of equipment when required.
• Provide problem resolution on all systems.
• Provide knowledge and training of proper usage of equipment.
• Plan and maintain a comprehensive preventative and routine maintenance schedule.
• Maintain records of all works carried out.
• Order parts and maintain stock levels.
• Provide technical evaluations of planned equipment upgrades.
• Liaise with equipment manufactures.
• Remain updated in current and future equipment development.
• Ensure legislative changes in testing and compliance are implemented.
• Develop further commercial opportunities within the region.

ADDITIONAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the training system currently in use by GAAC will focus on content that combines the best practices of both ICAO and MOTA. 
• Ensure all courses are compliant with national and international standards, quality checked against stated learning objectives, then developed and delivered by the training team in the national languages of Afghanistan.
• Provide guidance and support / assist the development of a centralized training facility, essential to ensure consistent and compliant levels of training awareness across the Afghanistan Aviation organization.

• Certificate of Maintenance Training from Rapiscan Company
• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Requires knowledge of complex electromechanical systems and familiarity with current test equipment.
• Has experience of high voltage equipment.
• Experience gained in a service environment on the repair and maintenance of security x-ray systems.
• Experience of systems manufactured by Rapiscan and Smiths Detection Systems.
• Experience in Astrophysics hold baggage screening systems would be beneficial.
• Experience of Smiths trace detection equipment would be beneficial.
• Ability to follow complex instructions and read schematic drawings.
• The ability to articulate well at all levels.
• Relay complex technical information to non-technical personnel.
• Ability to work within a hostile environment
• Be open and flexible in approach.
• The ability to work unaided and within time constraints.
