Lazuli Pamir Consulting Engineering Services Co. is seeking experienced Hydrologists to support our ongoing and upcoming projects. The selected candidates will be responsible for conducting hydrological assessments, analyzing water resources, and providing expert insights on flood risks, water management, and sustainability strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Hydrological Assessments: Conduct hydrological studies, including watershed analysis, river flow assessments, and groundwater investigations.

2. Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, interpret, and analyze hydrological and meteorological data to support project needs.

3. Flood Risk Evaluation: Assess flood hazards and prepare flood modeling reports to support mitigation planning.

4. Water Resource Management: Develop sustainable water management strategies, including watershed and groundwater recharge planning.

5. GIS & Mapping: Utilize GIS tools for hydrological mapping and spatial data analysis.

6. Report Preparation: Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and recommendations based on hydrological findings.

7. Collaboration & Consultation: Work closely with engineers, environmental specialists, and government agencies to develop hydrological solutions.

8. Compliance & Regulations: Ensure that hydrological assessments align with environmental laws, policies, and best practices.

9. Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in discussions with project stakeholders, including government bodies, NGOs, and local communities.

10. Fieldwork & Site Visits: Conduct on-site hydrological surveys and inspections as required

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of hydrological principles, modeling techniques, and water resource management.

• Proficiency in hydrological modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWAT, MODFLOW).

• Experience with GIS tools for spatial analysis (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).

• Ability to analyze and interpret complex hydrological and environmental data.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and stakeholder interactions.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Willingness to conduct fieldwork when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in hydrology, water resource management, or environmental science is a plus.

• Experience working on projects related to flood risk management, watershed modeling, or climate impact assessment.
