About AYEHO

The Afghan Youth Education and Health Organization (AYEHO) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization registered with the Ministry of Economy. AYEHO supports the most marginalized groups in the country, including street-working children, orphans, children with disabilities, children in conflict with the law, and vulnerable families. The organization is widely recognized for its strong technical capacity and experience in delivering education, health, protection, and community development services at central, provincial, and district levels.

AYEHO works to empower communities at the grassroots level by promoting child and women’s rights and increasing access to primary education, basic health services, and socio-economic opportunities. Its mission is to improve the quality of life of vulnerable and underserved populations through sustainable, scalable programs and strategic partnerships. AYEHO uses participatory approaches, research, capacity development, and advocacy to create meaningful and lasting change in the lives of children, youth, and women.
