Job Descriptions:

Main Purpose:
The Help Desk Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive support to project beneficiaries by addressing their questions, concern and troubleshooting issues.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to project beneficiaries by analysing inquiries, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring optimal workstation and LAN performance.
  • Identify issues, offer reasonable solutions, and guide beneficiaries through corrective steps to resolve their problems.
  • Accurately enter each issue into the helpdesk database and maintain detailed records.
  • Generate and share helpdesk reports from the database with the project manager, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Advise beneficiaries on appropriate actions to take in response to their technical issues.
  • Adhere to standard help desk procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in support services.
  • Identify and escalate urgent issues to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree public relations, Management or Business administration.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with beneficiaries and team members.
  • Strong proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues
  • Ability to analyse problems, provide effective solutions, and guide beneficiaries through corrective steps.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage helpdesk records and generate accurate reports.
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build positive relationships with beneficiaries and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English and Pashto/Dari. Uzbek
