ECG specialized in project management, financial management, accounting, audit, taxation, and business compliance. Since 2015, ECG assisted its clients in the United States, Afghanistan, and other countries in Africa and Europe. 

ECG is seeking an experienced Operations Trainer based in Afghanistan to support a proposed USAID funded project in the cities of Kabul, Mazar, Herat, Kandahar and Jalalabad. 
 

Job Descriptions:

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Operations Trainer will be working as part of a team and will take a significant role in assisting various clients, often working on several engagements simultaneously. This role also requires the ability to work independently and propose creative solutions to clients’ operations such as human resources, procurements, IT, and other operations function. Specific responsibilities include:
•    Conduct a thorough, in depth, and detailed assessment of all operational departments, identify gaps and weaknesses.
•    Prepare assessment plan.
•    Prepare questionnaires and interview the relevant staff.
•    Perform walk throughs of the organizational systems.
•    Prepare assessment report.
•    Develop comprehensive, company specific, and unique operations Manuals for the firm, taking into account best practices including but not limited to Staff management, Hiring Procedures, Capacity Building & training, Personnel Filing Management.
•    Prepare the relevant templates, forms as required and needed.
•    Develop training materials on procurement and human resource management in accordance with Afghanistan labor law, civil service law and international best practices.
•    Conduct Training for the relevant staff at the firm on best Human Resources practices.
•    Ensure the HR department of the organization is focused on, and capable of, staffing an in-house training department.
•    Prepare on going status report and end of the task reports to show the targets achieved.
•    Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
 

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications:
•    University Degree in Human Resource Management, master’s degree will be preferred.
•    5 years of experience in senior positions at human resource management. 
•    Strong working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.
•    Strong organizational skills, including effective time management and prioritization of competing priorities and multiple deadlines.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Fluent in English language with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
