We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Biomedical Engineering Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and supporting medical devices and equipment in a clinical or laboratory setting. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new medical devices and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, documenting issues and solutions for future reference.
• Work closely with medical staff to provide training and support for the proper use of biomedical devices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO) and company policies regarding equipment safety and quality.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and modifications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve equipment functionality and reliability.
• Stay updated
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechatronic Engineering or Diploma of Technic Institute.
• Having at least 1 year of work experience for a bachelor's degree and 2 years of work experience for a diploma.
• Familiarity with national languages (Dari and Pashto) and English.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of biomedical equipment and devices.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Ability to travel to the provinces.
