Pamir Cola Group of Companies was established in 2004. The company holds all necessary licenses from relevant authorities, including the Commercial Court of Afghanistan and the Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan. Aiming to become a leading and prominent self-sufficient producer of various non-alcoholic beverages in Afghanistan, Pamir Cola established a state-of-the-art production facility on a 65,000 sqm plot in Herat Industrial Town. To ensure the highest standards, Pamir Cola imported advanced European technology, machinery, and expertise.

In 2005, Pamir Cola further expanded its production facility by adding a complete line for mineral water production, complementing its non-alcoholic beverage line.

From 2006 to 2011, Pamir Cola installed additional state-of-the-art production lines on new property and began producing juices in various flavors (available in different sizes of pouches, pockets, and PET bottles), carbonated-flavored drinks in various sizes of PET bottles and aluminum cans, energy drinks in various sizes of aluminum cans, natural lemon drinks in various sizes of PET bottles, natural mango drinks in various sizes of PET bottles, as well as biscuits, cakes, and cookies in a variety of sizes and flavors.

Job Descriptions:

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to develop and manage marketing programs in specific channels, support business objectives, implement business development plans, provide sales support, track and analyze the performance of advertising campaigns, manage marketing budgets, and ensure that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity. To be successful in this role, you must have hands-on experience with marketing analytics tools and be able to turn creative ideas into effective advertising projects.

Ultimately, you will help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and monitor marketing strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer needs to tailor marketing efforts accordingly.
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and allocate funds wisely.
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight, and assess against goals
  • Manage and supervise social media platforms, corporate communications, and branding to ensure a cohesive public image.
  • Manage and oversee the creation and execution of digital and print marketing campaigns.
  • Use data analytics to gauge the effectiveness of campaigns and to optimize future marketing strategies.
  • Supervise and mentor the marketing team and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Develop business cases for marketing programs at the proposal stage and make recommendations on marketing tactics
  • Evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives.
  • Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate consumer insights in support of improved marketing strategy and communications
  • Responsible for achieving sales, marketing, communications, distribution, and public relations mission, goals, and financial objectives. Ensure that evaluation systems are in place to relate to these goals and objectives and report progress to the senior manager.
  • Maintaining and building contacts with Hotels, Restaurants, supermarkets, and other shops.
  • Arranging effective distribution of marketing materials;
  • Maintaining and updating customer information databases.
  • Organizing and attending meetings, events, and exhibitions
  • Carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning, and awareness;
  • Monitoring competitor’s activities.
  • Regular follow-ups with the provincial Sales Representatives and report the updates to the senior manager.
  • produce sales and marketing material and ideas to attract new customers like sales proposals, PowerPoint presentations, conference publications, advertising, editorials, press releases company brochures, etc.
  • Achieve agreed annual Sales targets (which will be finalized in item No. 1) by the Sales & Marketing business plan.
  • As line manager for the Marketing section, arrange an annual performance review and training of relevant staff

Job Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and data analytical programs.
  • Proficiency in local languages & English (both written and spoken).
  • Ability to create complex marketing programs and report results
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to travel as necessary
  • Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking
  • Strong skills in leadership, communication, and analytical thinking are crucial
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across-channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate, and motivate
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics, and processing figures with spreadsheets
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing
  • Minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is essential. A Master’s degree in a pertinent area can be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Afghanistan’s government administrative structure.
  • Deep understanding of Afghan culture, local governance, and leadership traditions.
