Job Summary:
The CARE driver is responsible for ensuring reliable and timely transportation services for CARE employees and guests. The role requires the driver to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of CARE vehicles, provide excellent service to passengers, and adhere to all safety protocols while on the road.
The ideal candidate will have a professional attitude, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to high standards of service.
Job Responsibilities:
Timely and Reliable Transportation:
Transport CARE employees and guests to and from various destinations, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
Plan routes and manage time effectively to avoid delays, ensuring a smooth and efficient travel experience.
Adhere to schedules and communicate proactively with the team regarding any potential delays or issues.
Vehicle Maintenance & Cleanliness:
Conduct daily inspections of CARE vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and clean.
Regularly check tire pressure, fuel levels, lights, and other essential systems to maintain vehicle reliability.
Keep vehicles clean and presentable both inside and outside, including periodic washing and interior cleaning.
Safety and Compliance:
Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols while driving, ensuring the safety of passengers at all times.
Maintain a valid driver’s license and ensure that all necessary registrations, and permits are up to date.
Ensure that all passengers are safely seated and follow any necessary safety procedures during driving.
Customer Service:
Provide high-quality, professional service to CARE employees and guests, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience.
Efficient performance on staff pickup and drop off, ensuring staff's safety and comfort.
Demonstrate a friendly, helpful, and courteous attitude towards passengers, addressing any needs or concerns in a respectful manner.
Record Keeping & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of trips, including times, destinations, and mileage in the vehicles log-book.
Provide incident reports (RTA) if any accidents or issues arise during driving.

Education:
Required, High school diploma or equivalent.
Desired, University graduate
Experience:
Required, Minimum (5) years of experience as a professional driver.
Experience driving with INGs is required.
Ability to speak (English language) is required.
Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and punctuality.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees and guests.
Ability to manage time efficiently and follow schedules.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
Desired, More than (5) years experience with INGOs/UN agencies is preferred.
