About SKNYSO:

Sultan Khwaja Noor Youth Social Organization (SKNYSO), as a non-governmental and non-profit organization, is officially registered with the Ministry of Economy. It operates in the areas of women's empowerment, youth support, capacity building, and economic growth and development. The organization, in coordination with governmental sectors and with the support of international donors, works to improve the economic and social conditions of women, aiming to empower both women and youth.

SKNYSO is committed to creating opportunities for the empowerment of women and youth through the provision of educational, vocational, and economic programs. In collaboration with government sectors and with the support of international donors, the organization strives to enhance the economic and social conditions of women and to create more employment and educational opportunities for them. Promoting gender equality and increasing women's participation in social and economic decision-making are among the organization’s key goals, enabling women to play an effective and constructive role in various fields. Additionally, through the provision of supportive and consultative services, the organization endeavors to assist women and youth on the path toward self-sufficiency and sustainable development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct carpet weaving training sessions for the target community.
2. Teach advanced and modern carpet weaving techniques.
3. Supervise carpet weaving workshops in vocational centers and provide technical consultation.
4. Evaluate and report on progress to the project team.
5. Provide training to improve the quality and speed of production.
6. Market and sell the produced products.

Education:

• Minimum Grade 12 graduate. Preference will be given to those with higher education.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in carpet weaving training and working in carpet weaving workshops.

Skills:

• Technical and practical skills in carpet weaving.
• Ability to transfer skills to women in rural areas.
• Familiarity with modern carpet weaving methods.
• Ability to supervise workshops and evaluate production quality.
• Knowledge of local markets and effective communication with them.

Personal Attributes:

• Ability to work with diverse groups of women.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to provide practical solutions.
• Strong communication skills with local communities.
• Commitment to ethical standards and social activities.
