Data Entry Officer
Terms of Reference (ToR) for the position of Data Entry Officer responsible for accurate reporting to WVI Afghanistan and the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), in alignment with AEHDA's standard format:
Position Title: Data Entry Officer
Project Title: Health, WASH, and Protection Interventions in Herat Province
Duty Station: Herat Province, with possible travel to field sites
Reporting to: M&E Officer / Project Manager
Duration: 12 months (renewable based on performance and funding)
1. Background
AEHDA is implementing a multi-sectoral project focused on strengthening health, WASH, and protection services in Herat. Timely and accurate data collection and reporting are essential for tracking progress, ensuring transparency, and fulfilling obligations to donors and the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH).
2. Purpose of the Position
The Data Entry Officer is responsible for entering, managing, and verifying project data in health information and donor reporting systems, including HMIS, DHIS2, and internal databases. The officer ensures that all data is complete, accurate, and submitted on time to AEHDA leadership, donors, and the MoPH.

The Data Entry Officer reports directly to the M&E Officer and works closely with field staff, health facility teams, and program officers.

AEHDA maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward any kind of exploitation and abuse. The Data Entry Officer is required to adhere to AEHDA’s code of conduct, safeguarding policy, and confidentiality agreement.
