The Organization of Human Welfare (OHW) is a non-governmental organization. It is a non-political, not-for-profit, and impartial organization with no bias towards a particular religion, ethnicity, or political belief. It has its independent legal status and entity. OHW has operated since 2007 in the country with active membership with the national clusters and international donor agencies in Afghanistan, including SWABAC, ACBAR, AICS, BAAG, AWN, and most of the national and international Clusters operate in Afghanistan.

Job Summary

To supervise, coordinate, and support case workers to ensure quality delivery of case management services that meet organizational standards and client needs.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and guidance to case workers.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Facilitate regular team meetings and case discussions.
• Ensure case workers adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
• Oversee the implementation of case management plans.
• Ensure proper documentation, data collection, and reporting.
• Support complex cases and provide technical advice as needed.
• Ensure timely follow-up on cases and monitor client progress.
• Coordinate with other departments and external partners to ensure holistic client support.
• Represent the team in inter-agency meetings as required.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on case management activities.
• Maintain accurate records and databases.

• Bachelors’ degree in Psychology, Medicine, Law, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-4 years’ relevant experience, especially within an NGO, UN agencies or similar organization.
• Previous experience supervising staff is highly desirable.
• Ability to listen and respond professionally.
• Supervisory, team worker, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of relevant laws, policies, and ethical guidelines.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Computer skill at operator level, especially with MS Office packages.
• Ability to communicate appropriately via English, Pashto and Dari.
