Position Summary:

Seashore Construction Company is seeking an experienced and technically proficient Mining Extraction Engineer to lead and oversee all aspects of mining extraction operations at our mining projects. This role is critical for ensuring that extraction processes are carried out efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with national mining regulations and environmental standards. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in mineral extraction techniques, mine planning, and operational execution in field conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, planning, and execution of mining extraction operations at the project site.
• Oversee drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling activities to ensure safe, cost-effective, and timely extraction.
• Develop and implement mine plans, extraction schedules, and technical reports in line with project goals and resource availability.
• Monitor geological conditions and adjust extraction strategies accordingly to maximize recovery and minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with all national laws, environmental standards, and occupational health & safety regulations.
• Work closely with geologists, surveyors, field supervisors, and equipment operators to coordinate day-to-day operations.
• Prepare technical documentation, extraction reports, and production records as required by company and government authorities.
• Supervise and train junior mining staff or technicians in best practices for extraction.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in mining extraction operations, preferably in open-pit or underground mining projects.
• Strong understanding of extraction equipment, processes, mine design, blasting techniques, and operational logistics.
• Familiarity with Afghan mining laws, EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment), and health & safety regulations.
• Proven experience in managing on-site mining teams and extraction operations under challenging field conditions.
• Strong reporting, technical writing, and analytical skills.
• Fluency in Pashto, Dari and English
