Job Descriptions:

Afghan Durrani Mining & Processing Company is seeking two qualified Geologists to support its marble and alabaster mining operations in Helmand Province. The selected candidates will play a key role in ensuring the quality and classification of raw materials, working closely with quarry operations and production teams to monitor the geological and physical properties of dimension stone during extraction.

Job Requirements:

  • Conduct on-site geological supervision of marble and alabaster extraction.
  • Evaluate the quality, texture, color, veining, and structural integrity of dimension stone.
  • Classify stone blocks based on commercial grading standards.
  • Assist in optimizing quarrying activities by providing lithological and structural input.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of quarry sections and sampling points.
  • Collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure high-grade material is selected and processed.
  • Contribute to technical reports and quality assurance protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all field activities.
