Background:
As there are many opportunities for communicable disease to strike and cause epidemics of disease spreading across the country, the National Diseases Surveillance and Response (NDSR) System within Monitoring & Evaluation and Health Information System General Directorate (M&E-HIS GD) will have the potential to rapidly identify the early stage of an outbreak and in coordination with disease control department and other stakeholders, bring timely public health interventions to stop disease transmission and reduce morbidity and mortality that may have resulted from the spread of the epidemic. This is a senior position in this system with the following qualifications and responsibilities:
Purpose of the Post:
The purpose of the post is to strengthen the MoPH national diseases surveillance and response system (NDSR) at regional levels for the timely detection, confirmation, reporting and reponse to the outbreaks of high pathogens infectious diseases.

Experience:

Proficient in using surveillance tools (e.g., Excel, DHIS2 etc) Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
