We are helping children get a better education, we make it possible for more boys and girls to attend school, we help children protect themselves and influence their own conditions. We work with families, communities and health workers in homes, clinics and hospitals to promote basic health in order to save lives of children and mothers

Job Descriptions:

CHILD SAFEGUARDING:

Level 1:  the post holder will not have contact with children and/or young people, or access to personal data about children or young people, as part of their work; therefore a police check will not be mandatory for this post unless the content of the post changes, in which case the Child Safeguarding level should be reviewed.

ROLE PURPOSE:

Work closely with Control and Compliance (C&C) team, assist Accounts Payable coordinator on AP documentations and follow up with relevant parties.

SCOPE OF ROLE:

Reports to: Finance coordinator

Staff reporting to this post: Nill

Direct: Finance coordinator

Indirect : Finance Team

Budget Responsibilities: Shared Cost

Role Dimensions: BHs, Supply chain Dept.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY :

  1. Provide support to AP Finance Coordiantor on documnetatoin of AP tasks
  2. Follow up with treasury on processes of Payments in respect of Pro-Save.
  3. Follow up with supply chain on pending invoices for open Purcahse orders.
  4. Scan the documents for proper record keeping.
  5. Any other task assingned by line manager.

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS 

Completion of at least 5 semesters of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, accounting or relevant qualifications such as ACCA or its equivalance

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Essential

  • Fluency in English language and local languages Pashto and Dari.
  • Responsible, reliable, punctual and ability to multi-task.
  • Knowledge of archiving and filing.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of Finance, practices.
  • Good follow up and organizing skills.
  • Ability to Communicate with impact and respect.

Desireable: Graduate of Finance, Accounting related qualifications.
