Agency for Assistance and Development of Afghanistan (AADA) is an Afghan non-profit non-governmental organization working for the development of Afghanistan mainly through (1) provision of quality health services; (2) community development; (3) training and capacity building at professional and community levels; and (4) research in topics of public health and social sciences besides various projects in different parts of Afghanistan.
Organize and implement continuous training/orientation to AADA staff, relevant partners, community members and other stakeholders
Conduct safeguarding induction for newly hired staff and volunteers.
Monitor the Safeguarding risk mitigation process of individual projects, will participate in domestic investigations, and deliver quality reports.
Monitoring compliance, provide support, and serve as a point of contact for safeguarding concerns to ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone involved.
Support Safeguarding awareness raising sessions among staff, partners, volunteers and beneficiaries and will make sure that all Safeguarding concerns and incidents are reported to the management following the set protocol.
Support the integration of safeguards policies, principles, and priorities into daily field operations to ensure compliance and promote best practices.
Establish and maintain mechanisms for reporting and addressing breaches of safeguards, including timely escalation and resolution processes.
Ensure that all staff, volunteers, contractors and partners understand the code of conduct, are aware of expected behaviours and implications of misconduct.
Raise awareness on safeguarding policy in project communities and ensure that community members know what behaviours to expect from staff and how to raise and report concerns.
Bachelor Degree in Social Science, Law, Gender Study or any other related fields.
At least 2 years’ experience in safeguarding fields with national and international NGOs
Excellent verbal communication and report writing skills in English
Fluency in spoken Dari, Pashto is required.
Having ability to analyze and interpret data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights from community feedback is required.
Understanding and respect for local culture, traditions, and social norms is essential for trust building with communities.
