War Child’s flagship Afghanistan program advances social impact in the lives of vulnerable children, women, and their families through its humanitarian and development programming in Protection, Health, Education and Livelihood sectors in various provinces of Afghanistan.
The Senior Project Coordinator will be working under direct supervision of Country Director and will be working closely with other departments such Program, Finance, Operation and project team. The Sr PC is responsible for ensuring that all project activities are planned and effectively implemented according to project workplan (DIP). S/he will manage day-to-day project implementation and operational matters at Balkh, Baghlan and Kunduz provinces (Districts) and communities, overseas and build the capacity of project staff, externally represent the project and coordinate with key stakeholders including DoLSA, District Authorities, UN and INGOs and communities etc. Sr PC will prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans and reports and support the team in implementation and will also assist Program Development team in donor reports.
