NCA is one of the largest Norwegian Non-Governmental Organizations for development and humanitarian aid with projects in 20 countries in Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East. Its mandate is to save lives, build resilience and seek justice.
NCA has a long history in Afghanistan with the registration of the office in 1998. Current programmes include emergency responses and integrated watershed management with Climate Resilient WASH, Economic Empowerment & Livelihoods, Climate & Environmental Stewardship and Inclusion. Programmes are implemented both by NCA and in partnership with Afghan NGOs.
For its Afghanistan programme, NCA seeks a highly competent, highly motivated Programme Manager. The right candidate should be able to take initiatives, set goals for the programmatic work, and be a problem solver and team builder with strong leadership and managerial skills. He or she should be articulate with an ability to work across departments on both country and head office level in Oslo.
