Back up Pediatrician

Bu Ali Rehabilitation and Aid Network (BARAN) is a nongovernmental, non-political and independent organization. BARAN has been established in 27.7.2006 registered with the Ministry of Economy (MoEc), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Ministry of Education (MoE) , Ministry of labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD), Ministry of Justice (MoJ) in order to deliver standard health care, social and educational services including conducting researches. Special attention is given for the community development by promoting capacity building programs

    •    Provide pediatric care in the absence of the primary pediatrician.
    •    Conduct routine check-ups, growth and development assessments, and vaccinations.
    •    Diagnose, treat, and manage common childhood illnesses and chronic conditions.
    •    Handle pediatric emergencies and provide critical care when needed.
    •    Collaborate with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare staff to ensure continuous child healthcare.
    •    Maintain accurate patient records, immunization charts, and medical histories.
    •    Advise parents and caregivers on child nutrition, preventive care, and health education.
    •    Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control procedures.
    •    Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and professional development sessions.
    •    Be available on-call to cover night shifts, emergencies, or sudden absences of the primary pediatrician.

    •    MD in Pediatrics from a recognized medical university.
    •    Valid medical license to practice pediatrics in the country.
    •    Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience in pediatric care.
    •    Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in managing childhood illnesses.
    •    Ability to handle pediatric emergencies and acute conditions.
    •    Excellent communication and counseling skills with children and caregivers.
