Digitalization Officer (Call for CVs)

Vision Development Organization (VDO), founded in 2015 by Afghan women leaders, is a national, women-led NGO dedicated to advancing the dignity, resilience, and leadership of women, youth, and marginalized communities. Despite Afghanistan’s complex humanitarian and governance challenges, VDO has grown into a trusted, principled, and adaptive organization, delivering programs in protection, education, livelihoods, social inclusion, and community development across multiple provinces. Anchored in integrity, accountability, and operational excellence, VDO upholds strong governance, safeguarding, and compliance standards while championing women’s leadership and equitable, high-quality service delivery.

• Lead and support digital transformation initiatives across VDO systems, operations, reporting platforms, documentation processes, and organizational workflows.
• Assess organizational systems and identify opportunities for automation, digital integration, electronic documentation, online reporting, and digital workflow improvements.
• Coordinate implementation and maintenance of digital systems including MIS platforms, document management systems, HR systems, inventory systems, online approval systems, and reporting dashboards.
• Support digitization of organizational records, archives, tracking systems, forms, and operational tools. 
• Coordinate with IT, MEAL, HR, finance, procurement, and administration teams to improve efficiency, security, accessibility, and integration of digital systems.
• Conduct staff training and technical support on digital platforms, online systems, and automation tools. Monitor digital system performance, user access, troubleshooting, and system updates.
• Ensure compliance with data protection, cybersecurity, confidentiality, and information management standards. 
• Prepare digital transformation plans, progress reports, and system improvement recommendations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, Digital Transformation, or related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in digital systems management, automation, or organizational digitalization initiatives.
• Strong understanding of database systems, workflow automation, cloud platforms, and digital reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and technical support skills.
• English excellent, Dari and Pashtu fluent

Vision Development Organization (VDO) is accepting CVs and applications from qualified candidates from 13 June 2026 to 27 June 2026 to establish a candidate roster (database) for future employment opportunities.
