Master Trainer – Business Administration & Economic Development Programs (Call for CVs)

Vision Development Organization (VDO), founded in 2015 by Afghan women leaders, is a national, women-led NGO dedicated to advancing the dignity, resilience, and leadership of women, youth, and marginalized communities. Despite Afghanistan’s complex humanitarian and governance challenges, VDO has grown into a trusted, principled, and adaptive organization, delivering programs in protection, education, livelihoods, social inclusion, and community development across multiple provinces. Anchored in integrity, accountability, and operational excellence, VDO upholds strong governance, safeguarding, and compliance standards while championing women’s leadership and equitable, high-quality service delivery.

• Responsible for designing and delivering business administration, entrepreneurship, economic development, livelihood, and employability training programs for project beneficiaries, trainers, and staff.
• Develops training curricula, manuals, and facilitation materials on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, business planning, marketing, bookkeeping, customer service, employability skills, value chain development, and cooperative management.
• Conducts ToTs, coaching, and mentoring sessions for SMEs, youth, women-led businesses, and livelihood groups. Supports market assessments, enterprise development, private sector engagement, and job placement initiatives.
• Conducts assessments, monitoring, and reporting while ensuring safeguarding, inclusion, and donor compliance standards are integrated into all activities.

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Economic Development, Finance, Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in economic development, entrepreneurship, TVET, or livelihood programming.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise development, financial literacy, and market systems.
• Experience in training delivery, coaching, and mentoring.
• Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Experience working with donor-funded programs.
• Ability to travel extensively to field locations.
• English excellent; Dari and Pashto fluent
