Help the Afghan Children (HTAC), is a non-profit, non-governmental organization was established in 1993 in response to the horrible conditions of Afghan families she witnessed during Afghanistan’s civil war. HTAC is registered with Afghanistan’s Ministry of Economics as a national non-governmental organization. HTAC is also member of ACBAR coordination body in Afghanistan.
Safeguarding: Help The Afghan Children has zero tolerance for abuse to children and all HTAC staff and clients will abide by child safeguarding rules and regulations. HTAC ensures safe programming free from violence.
Position Summary:
Under the direction of Provincial Senior Manager and Child Protection Sr. Manager will be responsible for quality implementation of Holistic Community-based Child Protection project, and make the delivery of Child Rights and Child Protection a reality in his/her respective province. This position is also responsible to technically support project Child Protection Officer, receive technical support and coordinate with Save the Children and liaison project interventions with government related departments
Duties & Responsibilities:
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Ability to support Child Protection Officers for the quality implementation of the project, developing plan, able to support the team based on their needs and experience in the reporting, planning and coordinating.
Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especial MS. Excel.
Essential:
Fluently speak English, Pashtu and Dari Ability to develop project tools, formats, reports Able to travel to all parts of the program impact areas and meet with stakeholders
Desirable:
This post holder is responsible to report child safeguarding cases to HTAC Safeguarding Focal Point and consider the confidential.
