Afghanistan Development National Organization (ADNO) is a non-government, nonpolitical and non-profit organization its main area of work is community development including training/Capacity Building, advocacy and civil society, support to formal and non-formal education, emergency and income generation through implementing various skill trainings with participatory approaches ADNO  was Founded 2009 in Afghanistan, in General ADNO working with Afghan Society to improve their Development Skills. And Endeavoring for a peaceful, developed, and prosperous Afghanistan and the world where all vulnerable populations have equal rights, access to essential resources, and a life free from discrimination, poverty and violence.

Job Descriptions:

Roles and Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive work plans, monitor project progress, and prepare monthly progress reports.
  • Design and conduct planned training sessions for project staff and stakeholders.
  • Oversee all project activities to ensure they are executed according to the work plan and objectives.
  • Track project progress and ensure activities align with the established work plan and objectives.
  • Develop tools for monitoring and evaluating project activities, ensuring that monitoring and evaluation systems, reporting mechanisms, and quality controls are in place.
  • Supporting in analysis of case management caseload, assigning cases to case workers, supervision and coaching.
  • Ensuring close coordination and tracking of children receiving case management including regular follow up as per prioritization and vulnerability criteria
  • Provide technical and management leadership to Case Management Social Workers (case workers)
  • Develop work plan and oversee the implementation of case management activities including CPIMS+ activities.
  • Support the standardization, operationalization, and harmonization of existing CPIMS/CPIMS+ tools, forms and resources, SOPs and information sharing protocol.
  • Identify training needs in CPIMS+ and deliver the training to case management team(Case worker and Case worker supervisors).
  • Facilitate and support national and donor staff in monitoring and evaluating the project.
  • Actively participate in the project team, providing effective monitoring and timely technical assistance to project staff and donors.
  • Address and resolve project-related issues and needs in collaboration with the program team.
  • Keep relevant government departments informed about project activities and ensure their involvement in all significant project activities.
  • Direct, control, and motivate the project team, ensuring they have clear objectives and receive meaningful feedback on their performance.
  • Report project developments and achievements to the Provincial Project Manager.
  • Conduct meetings with all line departments and involve communities in discussions about project progress, implementation, and related issues.
  • Provide full support to the project team and closely supervise them to ensure the project is implemented according to the planned objectives.
  • Maintain effective coordination mechanisms with relevant stakeholders and governmental departments.
  • Coordinate all project activities with communities, government, and local actors to ensure efficient and effective implementation.
  • Engage with community elders, local Shura members, and other influential community members to operate in a participatory and coordinated manner.
  • Prepare training materials and develop training plans.
  • Support project staff in organizing training sessions for other staff, facilitators, and community members.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient utilization of the project budget for its intended purposes.
  • Arrange for the supply of required materials and supplies.
  • Manage logistics and transportation needs for the project and project staff.
  • Organize and maintain information files related to program and project management.
  • Collaborate with project staff to prepare data accurately and appropriately.
  • Document lessons learned and case studies and share these insights with project staff and other stakeholders.
  • Report regularly and on time to the Line Manager on project implementation and assigned responsibilities.
  • Ensure effective documentation of the program and progress by capturing lessons learned and good practices.
  • Participate in training workshops and project events held in Kabul or other provinces.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager to support the project’s success.

1.ST/SGB/2003/13 United Nations Secretary-General’s Bulletin and Special measures for protection from sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA)

  • In the light of different reports and the statement of UN Secretary General regarding PSEA and in order to take prevention measures, ADNO strictly applies the PSEA guidance and policy to all of its staff, daily wagers, contractors, consultants, volunteers, vendors, beneficiary, etc. All ADNO associates are advised to avoid any kind of sexual exploitation (SEA) and abuse of any kind while working together with ADNO. Involvement in any form of SEA and violation of any set guideline in relation to SEA is prohibited.
  • ADNO shall track and get information on involvement in SEA or corruption about the candidates who apply to ADNO and ADNO adopts zero tolerance policy on SEA and corruptions.
  • As a humanitarian agency, ADNO strictly adheres to humanitarian Data Sharing Protocol (DSP) applied in Afghanistan. The sharing of data of any type of anyone associated to ADNO (Beneficiary detail, survey, assessment, reports, internal matters, confidential documents, etc. is prohibited and will require senior management approval to make sure the sharing is in line with Do NO HARM principles, DSP and ADNO data sharing policy

Data sharing

  • As a humanitarian agency, ADNO strictly adheres to humanitarian Data Sharing Protocol (DSP) applied in Afghanistan. The sharing of data of any type of anyone associated to ADNO (Beneficiary detail, survey, assessment, reports, internal matters, confidential documents, etc. is prohibited and will require senior management approval to make sure the sharing is in line with Do NO HARM principles, DSP and ADNO data sharing policy

 Media participation

  • No ADNO staff can participate in any media talks, interviews, debates, information sharing in social media or in any other media. No staff can represent any ADNO activities at any media platforms without ADNO management permission

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor degree but Master Degree is desirable.
  • Four years of experience in related position.
  • Experience in working closely with Team Members.
  • Good interpersonal skills including ability to gain trust and build relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders. Organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects, communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
