Society Educational Awareness Research Consultancy and Health (SEARCH) Organization is an independent registered non-government and nonprofit civil society organization. SEARCH Organization prime motto is capacity building and services delivery to the deprived and marginalized people of the society. In 2015 a group of educated, dynamic and like-minded youth working in the development sector, got together to establish an organization, for addressing the most urgent and pressing needs of the people of Afghanistan.

• Provide technical leadership and oversight to a team of social workers and community volunteers engaged in delivering psychosocial support services within Child Friendly Spaces.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and tools for social work interventions, ensuring they align with best practices and child protection principles.
• Conduct regular supervision, coaching, and capacity-building sessions for social workers and volunteers to enhance their skills in psychosocial support, case management, CP awareness rising and other CP related issues.
• Monitor the implementation of social work activities, including assessments, counselling sessions, and community outreach, to ensure adherence to project objectives and quality standards.
• Support the development and implementation of training programs and workshops on child protection, psychosocial support, and related topics for project staff and stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and other senior staff to integrate social work components with other project activities, such as education, health, and protection services.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations of social work interventions, collect data, and prepare reports to measure impact and inform programmatic decisions.
• Advocate for the rights and protection of children within the community, engaging with local authorities, partners, and stakeholders to promote child-friendly policies and practices.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements, project plans, and organizational policies in all aspects of social work activities

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counselling, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree with extensive relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in senior-level social work roles, preferably in child protection, humanitarian, or community development settings.
• Strong technical expertise in psychosocial support, child rights, and case management.
• Demonstrated experience in providing supervision, mentoring, and capacity-building support to social work teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to analyze data, evaluate program outcomes, and use findings to improve service delivery and impact.
• Fluency in English required; proficiency in local languages spoken in the project area is an asset.
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and safeguarding principles in all aspects of work.
