Society Educational Awareness Research Consultancy and Health (SEARCH) Organization is an independent registered non-government and nonprofit civil society organization. SEARCH Organization prime motto is capacity building and services delivery to the deprived and marginalized people of the society. In 2015 a group of educated, dynamic and like-minded youth working in the development sector, got together to establish an organization, for addressing the most urgent and pressing needs of the people of Afghanistan.

1. Case Management and Support:
   • Conduct assessments and provide individualized support to children and families in need, including psychosocial support, counseling, and referrals to appropriate services.
   • Develop and implement case plans in collaboration with children and caregivers to address their specific needs and challenges.
2. Community Engagement and Advocacy:
   • Build positive relationships with community members, local authorities, and other stakeholders to promote child protection and social welfare initiatives.
   • Advocate for children's rights and access to essential services, including education, healthcare, and protection from abuse and exploitation.
3. Capacity Building and Training:
   • Conduct training sessions and workshops for community volunteers, caregivers, and local partners on child protection principles, psychosocial support, and referral mechanisms.
   • Support the development of local capacities in social work and child protection through mentoring and on-the-job training.
4. Monitoring and Reporting:
   • Monitor and evaluate the impact of social work interventions, documenting progress, challenges, and lessons learned.
   • Prepare regular reports and updates on activities, achievements, and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders, including UNICEF.
5. Coordination and Collaboration:
   • Coordinate closely with project team members, including social workers, project managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure integrated and effective service delivery.
   • Participate in coordination meetings, workshops, and community events to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in social work, child protection, or humanitarian assistance, preferably in a community-based setting.
• Strong understanding of child rights, child protection principles, and psychosocial support concepts.
• Experience in conducting assessments, developing case management plans, and providing direct services to vulnerable populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and challenging environment.
• Fluency in English required; proficiency in local languages spoken in the project area is necessary.
