Job Descriptions:

Responsibilities:

  • Record purchase requisitions (PR) in the trucking sheet and procurement database.
  • Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and share with the Procurement Manager and relevant departments for review and updates.
  • Scan and archive all procurement-related documents.
  • Draft the weekly procurement meeting agenda and distribute it to the procurement team.
  • Compile and submit required weekly reports, and scan necessary documents for the Procurement Head.
  • Prepare and evaluate RFQs, aligning them with the PR delivery dates for the procurement process.
  • Handle customs clearance for goods and services, ensuring smooth transfer to relevant departments from the Goods Received Note (GRN).
  • Create RFQs and Invitations to Bid (ITBs) as needed.
  • Ensure all tax forms are provided to the relevant suppliers.
  • Coordinate with the Treasury Department to ensure timely payments to suppliers.
  • Perform any additional duties and tasks as assigned by the Line Manager or Procurement Manager.

Education & Professional Qualification

Education: Bachelor degree is from recognized University required.

Other qualifications’ an advantage:

Computer (Ms Office package), Negotiation and Interpersonal Skills

Languages: Pashto, Dari and English

Work Experience

3 years in the relevant field, NGOs and other Funding Agencies experience is preferred.
