The Afghan Development Foundation (ADF) is a non-governmental, non-political organization founded in 1996 and run entirely by Afghans. The organization is registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan. ADF is run by a group of considerate people who intend to rebuild, bring livelihood resilience, facilitate education for children, and ensure food security for the communities and the population greatly affected by conflicts. Due to war damages and the high number of domestic destructions, which have had close and direct effects on the livelihoods of people, children's education, and the development gap, ADF has concentrated its activities in various vital sectors for human welfare and is taking an active part in the developmental sector of Afghanistan.

The Community Mobilizer will be responsible for conducting community level surveys, evaluations for affected people Provide affordable or accessible meals to vulnerable households), especially those at high nutritional risk, such as children, women, and older adults. supervise and follow-up with community, meet with community, provide support to run the project smoothly, Registration of beneficiaries and share with main office the beneficiary’s lists (profile survey database) for verification and approval prior to starting meal distribution, selection of beneficiary, organization and supervision of Accessible meals to vulnerable households people needs as well as keeping strong relationships with house hold, community elders, H/She will give daily and weekly report to the direct supervisor. The incumbent will identify agriculture needs and problems, managing project related site distributions, conducting necessary meetings and keeping track of all activities according to the project scope and plan. He/She will keep strong coordination and communication with community members and teachers, officers.  

Job duties/responsibilities

• Conduct community surveys, house hold survey, evaluations, beneficiaries profile, selection and registration process, based on the ADF selection procedures, and sharing the input with regarding
• Selection of the vulnerable households in collaboration with local stakeholders and carried out in strict adherence to the UN Joint Operation Principles
• Survey in the field and select the vulnerable families according to UNDP criteria
• Responsibly to survey the HHs in the targeted area and collects the data from the vulnerable families
•  Provide affordable or accessible meals to vulnerable households), especially those at high nutritional risk, such as children, women, and older adults
• A daily visit of HH and fill related questionnaire.
• Establish respectful relation with interviewee, in order to encourage them for appropriate answers;
• Interview the head of household and fill up pre prepared questionnaires during field visits;
• ADF also adheres to strict child safeguarding principles.
• Ensure respect of rules and procedures;
• Respecting the confidentiality of interviewee and collected data
• Report his/her activities to the line supervisor;
• Help ensure factual data from the site and properly report field related information to the relevant senior staff at the office and to the project assistants.
• Participate in meetings with UNDP, , CDC Shora’s, and other stakeholders in the province; liaise, communicate and coordinate with donors, NGOs, and other relevant institutions in the province according to instructions from supervisor.
• Organize technical trainings to all the direct beneficiaries on Promote social mobilization and sensitization within the community to raise awareness about food security, nutrition, and hygiene practices and encourage their integration into daily life.
• Ensuring that all tasks are carried out in accordance with the weekly schedule and the project's goals and sharing the problems, experiences and other information with project manager/project manager

• Bachelor Degree in Economy, BA, Computer Science, Social Science or equivalent
• At least 4 years’ experience in a similar position
• Fluent in Dari, Pashto, basic English
• Have experience in smart phone
• Able to manage and plan the work effectively and meet deadlines.
• Have experience in the survey of HHs
• Ability to establish working relationships with the government and non- government organizations and effective outreach and networking at provincial level
• Ability to build strong lines of communication with stakeholders
