Job Descriptions:

Summary:

The Community Mobilizer role in engaging and mobilizing communities to actively participate in the Selection of Beneficiary. The community mobilizer will work closely with technical staff to build relationships, facilitate community participation. the community mobilizer will collaborate with local stakeholders, community leaders, and project team to ensure the project's successful implementation and achieve the desired outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Mobilizing the communities and target groups and let them understand the project overall goal and the change it intended to bring in the life of the community
  • Ensuring that the community understands the project and accept it
  • Mobilizing the community to actively participate in different aspects of the project
  • Assisting in organizing distribution centers
  • Assisting in the process of hygiene/water kits distribution
  • Preparing clear reports from all steps of the project and submit to the project manager.
  •  Providing monthly, weekly, and daily plans and reports according to the project requirements
  • Organizing meetings with CDC/Village shura regarding project-related issues
  • Organizing project review sessions at the community level
  • Ensuring transparency and accountability at the community level through providing updated information on the project status, the challenges and etc.
  • Assisting the target beneficiaries to post their complaints about the project team and any other issues related to the project using ACHRO complaint mechanism and hotline
  • Assisting in the process of any surveys and assessment that might be conducted in the community
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by project manager

Job Requirements:

Bachelor degree in social science, BBA, or other related fields

Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience

Previous working experience with IDPs, refugees and/or returnees

Strong Knowledge of social sensitivities and social fabrics

Previous experience of working with rural communities

Strong communication skills

Strong command of local languages (Dari and Pashto
