Organization for Promotion of health & Agriculture Afghanistan (OPHAA is a non – governmental and nonpolitical national NGO, established in as a response to the emerging needs of Afghan people.

OPHAA is working for the fields health including Drug Prevention, Motivational Counseling, Detoxification, Treatment, Rehabilitation, Reintegration, Life Skill, Vocational Training, Aftercare, Follow up and Relapse Prevention, Harm Reduction & HIV/AIDS Prevention for Drug Addicts (Children, Female and Male Adolescent, Female and Male), Human Right, Capacity Building for different group of Afghan civil society including Teacher, Formers, and school students in different province of Afghanistan.

The aforesaid services provided for Afghan especially of marginalized population through

OPHAA experienced and qualified personnel in many province such as Paktika, Kundoz,

Ghazni, Kabul, Badakhshan, Herat, Balkh, Takhar, Bamyan, Jawizjan, Farah and Nimroz. 

Job Descriptions:

Administration:

  • Providing administrative support and assistance to program staff and beneficiaries.   
  • Ensuring office supplies are maintained, including checking inventory and ensuring adequate levels of necessary supplies at all time.  
  • Ensuring the confidentiality and security of files and filling systems.
  • Operating copy equipment, printers and other equipment necessary.
  • Maintaining of vehicles log books against fuel and oil spending.
  • Ensure that the structure of the compound, electricity, water and doors, are in working order and any faults are repaired quickly. 
  • Keep an up -to-date list of all assets. Make an asset list for the more expensive assets. as outlined in the OPHAA guidelines, and send to monthly base.

Logistic:

  • Prepare Weekly and Monthly Report.
  • Review purchase requests for completeness and approvals
  • Maintain product and supplier information
  • Analyze the supplies demand for main office and sub office
  • Prepare and submit a proper monthly list of procured materials/equipment for admin inventory purposes
  • Follow the announcement procedures, prepare list of participants, letter for terms and conditions, contracts or any other required document based on OPHAA procurement police.
  • Setting and planning how to achieve supplier accreditation and service level management
  • Checking and confirming that the requested goods are approved by the authorized responsible.
  • Follow up with suppliers in coordination with purchaser to ensure prompt delivery
  • Maintain proper filing system within logistics unit 

Job Requirements:

  • BA in business administration or relevant field; further training will be plus
  • At least Two years working experience as Admin/logistic officer with national and international NGOs
  • Having skills in computer applications such as Excel, Outlook and Microsoft word
  • BA in business administration or relevant field; further training will be plus
  • Communication skills and strong local language correspondence skills. Particularly in fluency in English, Dari, and Pashtu, speaking /writing skills are required.
  • Ability to write logical, clear, and concise reports.
  • Able to work overtime or holidays required by the supervisor or program need, or any other tasks which need to be completed as per organization need basis to related department.
