Job Descriptions:

Position summary

The educational Assistant support the delivery of educational programs, assisting teachers and coordinators with classroom activities, materials preparation, and student support. Educational Assistant help ensure a positive learning environment and contribute to the effective implementation of educational initiative.

Specific Responsibility

  • Regularly update records on training activities, attendance, and participant feedback. Contribute to preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on educational activities and outcomes. Additionally assets with MEAL officer in preparing quarterly Cumulative Report (QCR), and Quarterly or Semi – Annual Progress and Implementation Report to donor.
  • Support assessments of the learning environments within the community, helping to identify any improvements that can enhance student engagement and educational outcomes. 
  • Facilitate small-group activities, discussions, or study groups to encourage collaboration and knowledge-sharing among teachers.
  • Assist in the creation of curriculum guides, lesson plans, and teaching materials, ensuring that they are culturally relevant and aligned with project goals.
  • Assist in monitoring and supporting teachers' performance in the classroom, offering guidance where needed to ensure high-quality delivery. 
  • Providing organizational and operational assistance to ensure smooth implementation of project activities, such as managing schedules, arranging transportation, preparing materials, and handling communications. 
  • Regularly tracking and assessing the progress of project activities to ensure they are being implemented as planned and measuring their effectiveness to determine whether project goals are being achieved. 
  • Engaging with the local community to gather their input, feedback, and perspectives, and incorporating this into the evaluation process to ensure that project outcomes are relevant and effective for the community's needs. (Community and evaluation).

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 4 -5 Years of experience in Relative field
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience in Education training, workshop facilitation, or a related area.
  •  Good organizational and administrative skill.
  •  Effective communication and interpersonal skill.
  • Proficiency in local languages (Dari/Pashto).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding principles.
