Position summar

The educational trainer Assistant plays a vital role in strengthening educational outcomes by supporting the design, coordination, and facilitation of teacher training programs, they assist in developing training materials, monitoring progress, and ensuring the effective delivery of capacity – building initiative to improve teaching quality and student learning experiences. 

Specific Responsibility

  • Assist the educational trainer in preparing and delivering training sessions.
  • Help facilitate group activities, discussions, and practical exercises during the training.
  • Provide one-on-one support to trainees as needed.
  • Assist in the creation, organization, and distribution of training materials, such as handouts, presentation and workshop.
  • Assist in the classroom learning materials.
  • Ensure training supplies and equipment are ready and available for sessions.
  • Coordinate with the program team to arrange training venue, schedules, and resource.
  • Collect feedback from trainees on the quality of training sessions and report the educational trainer.
  • Support in evaluation trainees progress and performance.
  • Maintain training – related documentation, including attendance sheet, evaluation forms, a reports.
  • Work closely with the educational trainer and other team members to ensure the success of training programs.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the education or NGO sector
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adopt to changing needs
  • Proficiency in [Local Language] and English preferred.
  • Commitment to organization mission and vision.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadline.
  • Timely preparation and submission of training – related documentation.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding principles.
