Job Descriptions:

Position summary

The Provincial Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all project activities at the provincial level. Key responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of educational programs in emergency settings, ensuring alignment with donor guidelines and organizational standards, supervising field staff, and fostering effective collaboration with local authorities, partners, and communities. The role focuses on delivering quality educational services to children affected by emergencies while maintaining accountability, efficiency, and sustainability in program execution

Specific Responsibility

  • Assist project manager with planning, organizing and controlling project activities through communicating risks, opportunities and current state of the project.
  • He/she fulfill his/her obligation by coordinating meetings, resources, equipment and information.
  •  The provincial coordinator is responsible for all implementation aspect of the project at the provincial level.
  • The provincial coordinator acts as the focal point for all project-related issues and is responsible for proper coordination among all concerned stakeholder.
  • Provincial coordinator is responsible for continued coordination of staff, stockholders, beneficiaries and local community and overseas the correct and on-time implementation of all component of the project.
  •  Support and follow-up on the implementation of proposes project-related activities.
  • Assist the project assistance in finance and admin related-related activities.
  •  Assist MEAL officer in data collection and provincial monthly M&E report.
  •  Assist the consultant in conducting the assessments.
  • Coordinate/facilitate the one-day TOT/orientation workshop for the master trainers and trainer’s assistant for each phase of implementation
  • Assist the selection process of instructor/trainees for the project
  •  Overseas monitoring and evaluation of the program ensuring achievement of program indicator
  •  Lead and guide staff in the effective implementation of the project activities in the province.
  • Actively contribute to the development and implementation of risk management strategies to address potential challenges at the provincial level.
  • Ensure compliance with project guidelines, donor requirements, and organizational policies, including safeguarding and ethical standards.
  • Promote and maintain a strong working relationship with local authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure project sustainability.
  • Confirming the quarterly Cumulative Report (QCR), and Quarterly or Semi – Annual Progress and Implementation Report to donor, (providing gridlines to the MEAL officer).
  •  Ensure timely and appropriate reporting on project activity to the project manager, stakeholder and other project-related task/duties assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in BBA, Education, economics, public relation or related field
  • At least three years of experience in a related field preferably in the education sector.
  • Ability to communicate and submit report in both spoken and written.
  • Fluency in Pashto / Farsi and English language.
  • Good knowledge and skill in computer office programs.
  • Well experience in project planning, management, administrative and supervision.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and carry out activities with limited supervision from supervisors.
