Health Efficient, Accessible, Long-Lasting and Treatment at Homeland Organization (HEALTHO) is a non-governmental, non-profit and non-political Afghan national organization established and registered with the Ministry of Economy in 2012.

The purpose of HEALTHO is to contribute to the development of Afghan society through providing health and education services, arranging capacity building programs and imparting vocational skills training, ensure food security and emergency relief assistance in times of natural or man-made calamities.

Job Descriptions:

The Project Manager based in Paktia regional office has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling of the project under the supervision of the Program Manager to ensure quality management of the project in Paktia provinces of Afghanistan.

Job Requirements:

  • Overall responsibility for technical management of the project in conjunction with other departments.
  • Provide guidance in the implementation and monitoring of projects of a high quality that contribute to national and global objectives and ensure that underserved communities get the maximum benefit from all activities.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly project progress reports
  • Lead the design of a data collection and management system to generate data, analysis and feedback on quality of the project
  • Manage, supervise, coordinate and monitor project activities in provincial level
  • Manage the complete operation of the project including its budget, personnel and plan in provincial level.
  • Responsible for managing and controlling logistics, admin and finance activities of the project in related province
  • Having good coordination and communicate with, beneficiary, local government and other stakeholders,
  • Provide technical support, guidance, and quality assurance to the provincial team to ensure that the project is achieving the results as aimed.
  • Ensuring regular review of project progress is done and there is value for money, the implementation methodologies are cost-effective and in cost-effective approaches.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate analysis of data and producing narrative reports to circulate to donor.
  • Assist and guide the provincial team in developing a feasible plan that achieves the goals and objectives of the project and aligns with the donor's overall objective.
  • Ensuring regular contact with all relevant stakeholders on the ground.
  • Assist provincial coordinators and managers with grant management; developing and following up activity plans, and alert the program manager if any of the activity is not being accomplished according to the timeframe.
  • Ensure transparency and accountability by sharing the project plan and the progress made with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Be responsive to all communications on a timely basis through the proper channel.
  • Supervise and mentor the provincial staff.
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
