Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) is a non-governmental, non-profitable, and non-political Afghan NGO, working since 1987 mainly in agriculture, health, education, and infrastructure sectors in more vulnerable areas of the country. CHA is working through the implementation of Emergency, rehabilitation, and development projects for emergency aid for war, famine, and natural disaster-affected families in the field, to assist with the rehabilitation of rural and urban life, and to work with communities for sustainable development in Afghanistan.

o Conduct household assessments based on the RHAF framework, ensuring accurate and complete data is collected from IDPs,returnees, and host communities.
o Administer structured interviews and surveys, ensuring the confidentiality of respondents’ information.
o Record responses clearly and accurately on paper forms or KOBO toolbox
o Ensure that assessments capture both quantitative and qualitative data as required.
o Assist in the planning and implementation of NFI distributions,ensuring supplies are delivered to the correct beneficiaries.
o Maintain accurate records of distributions,including beneficiary names, contact details, and item quantities distributed.
o Ensure that the distribution process is carried out in an organized and efficient manner, avoiding delays and confusion.
o Provide beneficiaries with clear information on the distribution process and address any concerns or questions they may have.
o Assist in monitoring and documenting challenges or issues raised by beneficiaries during the assessment and distribution activities.
o Report data collection and distribution outcomes to the supervisor in a timely manner, including issues and challenges faced.
o Ensure effective communication with affected populations, promoting transparency and understanding of the processes involved in RHAF and NFI distribution.
o Participate in any required training on RHAF, NFI distribution procedures, and relevant topics (e.g., protection, confidentiality, and safety).
o Support other team members in understanding the data collection tools and NFI distribution procedures.
o Conducting other tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Bachelor’s degree in the related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in protection monitoring, field-based data collection, enumerator roles, NFI distribution in humanitarian settings is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken languages (Fluency in Dari, Pashto, and/or English is an advantage).
• Experience working with vulnerable populations, especially in returnees or displacement settings.
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office) for reporting and data entry; experience with data collection software (e.g., KoboToolbox) is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure in a challenging environment and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
