Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) is a non-governmental, non-profitable, and non-political Afghan NGO, working since 1987 mainly in agriculture, health, education, and infrastructure sectors in more vulnerable areas of the country. CHA is working through the implementation of Emergency, rehabilitation, and development projects for emergency aid for war, famine, and natural disaster-affected families in the field, to assist with the rehabilitation of rural and urban life, and to work with communities for sustainable development in Afghanistan.

• Support the development and growth of small and medium enterprises in Dashti Archi and Baghlan-e-Jadid by providing business consultancy, capacity building, and strategic guidance.
• Facilitate the delivery of financial assistance to SMEs, ensuring that it is used effectively for business development.
• Provide technical support to SMEs, particularly women-owned businesses, on improving operational efficiency, financial management, and market competitiveness.
• Work closely with SMEs to develop business plans, marketing strategies, and financial models to ensure sustainability and growth.
• Ensure that all beneficiaries in this program are returnees, addressing their specific challenges and assisting in their reintegration into the local economy.
• Foster economic inclusion and gender equality by focusing on the empowerment of women entrepreneurs.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with the SMEs to assess progress, offer mentorship, and provide tailored solutions to business challenges.
• Liaise with local stakeholders and partners to support the success of the program and ensure alignment with community needs.
• Conducting other tasks assigned by supervisor.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• At least 3-5 years of experience in business development, SME consultancy, or entrepreneurship support.
• Proven experience in working with SMEs in economic development.
• Strong understanding of the challenges faced by entrepreneurs in Afghanistan, and the ability to provide context-specific solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Dari/Pashto and English.
• Ability to develop and implement business strategies, plans, and models for small and medium enterprises.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong organizational and mentoring skills.
