Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) is a non-governmental, non-profitable, and non-political Afghan NGO, working since 1987 mainly in agriculture, health, education, and infrastructure sectors in more vulnerable areas of the country. CHA is working through the implementation of Emergency, rehabilitation, and development projects for emergency aid for war, famine, and natural disaster-affected families in the field, to assist with the rehabilitation of rural and urban life, and to work with communities for sustainable development in Afghanistan.

Job Descriptions:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all SMEs involved in the program in the target districts (Dashti Archi and Baghlan-e-Jadid).

• Assist SMEs in accessing financial support and ensure its effective utilization for business development.

• Provide tailored technical support and guidance to SMEs, particularly those owned by women, to enhance their business operations, marketing strategies, and financial management.

• Monitor the progress of SMEs, providing continuous mentorship and feedback to improve their sustainability, capacity, and market competitiveness.

• Ensure that all program beneficiaries, addressing their specific challenges and assisting in their economic reintegration

• Facilitate the empowerment of women entrepreneurs by ensuring that the program’s design and implementation are gender-sensitive.

• Maintain regular communication with the SMEs, offering assistance and resolving challenges as they arise.

• Collaborate with local stakeholders and community leaders to foster a supportive environment for the SMEs and strengthen the program’s impact.

• Compile regular reports on the progress of SMEs, including financial assistance, capacity-building activities, and overall performance.

• Conducting other tasks assigning by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• At least 3 years of experience in SME development, entrepreneurship support, or business consulting.

• Experience working with businesses and economic development.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in local Languages and English.

• Ability to develop and implement strategies to support SMEs in various aspects of business development.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A proactive, results-oriented approach to supporting and empowering SMEs.
