• Supportive supervision of the Hospitals regularly and frequently based on problem priority.
• Ensure that MoPH Hospital documents and guidelines are available at the Hospital level. • Builds the capacity of management and technical staff
• Attends the morning reports on a random basis and provides feedback
• Provides facility for video conference of specialist’s staff with sub and main offices.
• Ensures that hospitals' HMIS key performance indicators are achieved in a best possible manner
• Ensures there is no data discrepancy in hospitals' HMIS reports and the accuracy and consistency of the data are ensured in PH.
• Ensures unique and effective management in the hospitals.
• Participants in the meetings of Hospital Community Boards and provides sound inputs
• Ensures that all committees in the hospitals are established and are well functioning
• Ensure Assessing knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behavior of Hospital staff.
• Monitor performance of all Hospitals according to quality assurance and MoPH checklists and take corrective actions as needed.
• Provide regular written feedback to hospital management.
• Assist the hospital director, medical director, and Nursing director in preparing monthly quarterly work plans and reports.
• Prioritize their needs and develop a work plan for capacity building and other hospital management issues
• Provide technical assistance to hospital director regarding hospital technical and management issues.
• Identify the shortage of medical and non-medical equipment and other supply in the hospitals and take the necessary action for addressing the shortage. • Support the hospital management team in problem-solving and decision-making.
• Maintain regular supportive supervision visits from the health delivery services provided by the hospital in order to the MoPH standards and national guidelines based on EPHS standards.
• Introduce, support, and supervise the implementation of standards in the hospital.
• Coordinate and share his/ findings and recommendations with the hospital coordination team
• Prepare the lesson plans and required teaching aids for conducting different on-the-job pieces of training
• Ensure regular Weekly/ Monthly hospital management meetings have been organized and meeting minutes are available
• Any other tasks delegated by supervisor.

Master degree in Public Health ( or related field ) and 5 years experience managing health services delivery ( or a bachelor degree and 10 years experience)
