Health, Disability and Development Organization (HDDO) is a national nonprofit and nonpolitical organization which has been registered with Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan in 07 January 2020 with the aims to advocate, promote and facilitate the Economic empowerment, socioeconomic reintegration, Physical rehabilitation, provision of health, education and livelihood support to the most marginalized, hard to reach and underserved population of the Country including person with disabilities, victims of war, mine  and ERW in Afghanistan. HDDO is committed to play active role in the humanitarian response to the neediest population in the Country and at the same time to contribute in the development and reconstruction of the Country as well. The vision of HDDO is to Promote and sustain educated, prosperous, peaceful, gender and disability sensitive society, where people, especially women, disabled and youth have access to better healthcare, disability and physical rehabilitation, play a key role in inclusive and sustainable development and to make sure that every and each of them is an active member in the societies. The HDDO main principle is the community based inclusive approaches to involve local communities and the target group in the design, implementation and monitoring of the project and that is why HDDO is fully relying on local resources and local capacity in the targeted communities.

Job Description:

The M&E Assistant is responsible to carry out tasks such as daily monitoring and evaluation of the activities, implementing M&E plans as shared by the M&E officer, assist with collecting complaints and feedbacks to share with the respective officers, identify and find challenges and issues in the project activities to report to the respective officers, assist with ensuring that the activities of the project are going as per the plans and that the targets will be achieved, assist with ensuring adherence to all principles and policies of the HDDO and the donor.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Make project M&E plan in close coordination with the project manager and head of M&E in the main office
  • Conduct regular monitoring by applying the project M&E checklist from the project site and provide constructive feedback to the relevant staff and department
  • Provide the M&E report and share it with the relevant staff and departments
  • Make tracker system project indicators and follow the project progress on regular basis for project best performance
  • Verify the data of assessment and victim and Perosn with disabilities who received services
  • Make registration book and reporting tools for project indicators
  • Analyze the project data and provide feedback for improvement
  • Activate complaint feedback mechanism at the provincial level and strictly follow all the complaints received from the communities and beneficiaries
  • Take an active part in drafting monthly, quarterly and end-of-project reports and provide accurate data for.
  • Keep soft and hard copies of all the required and related documents.
  • Develop and apply pre-post monitoring tools as per the project work plan
  • Perform other related tasks assigned by line manager.

Qualification:

Bachelor Degree or equaling in education, economic, Management or 12-degree Certificate with relevant experiences and any other relevant field.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in education, Economics, Management, or related discipline.
  • At least 1 years of experience in M& E and managing projects and similar operations.
  • Ability to travel to conduct assessments on the ground.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Fluency in the local language and ability to write emails and reports in English
  • Technically proficient with software programs.
  • Strong Communication, Problem Solving, Team Work, and Management Skills.

  • To be able to use essential computer Programme for the project purpose
  • To be able to work alone or as part of a team.
