Job Descriptions:

We are expecting an increase in our operations and for this purpose, we are creating a pool of candidates for different positions listed below.

  • Customer Service Agent
  • Ramp Team Leader

 

  1. Customer Service Agent
  • Display excellent customer service skills, teamwork and understanding to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Strive as part of a dedicated team to avoid complaints and earn compliments.
  • Ensure excellent discipline and grooming standards are always displayed while on duty.
  • Ensure all equipment used at the designated work location is in good working order and report any fault to the Passenger Services Duty Manager/ Supervisor.
  • Ensure that the system integrity while using workstations is maintained by always observing recommended best practices on passwords etc.
  • Must always be thorough whilst checking passenger documents like visa, ticket, passport etc. to avoid any error.
  • Report any irregularity or service shortfall to the senior management on duty to enable service recovery and appropriate corrective action to be taken.
  • Attend to passengers and raise reports for mishandled baggage or property irregularity, update systems regularly and respond to passenger queries.
  • Ensure that left behind baggage or baggage received for transfer are dispatched to the stations concerned as per the airlines and security procedure.
  • Ensure that the delivery of claimed baggage is done with proper documents and as per the airline contracts.

 

  1. Ramp Team Leader
  • Ensure that all staff always delivers the highest possible level of customer service.
  • Ensuring you and all staff members fully comply with the Health and Safety when carrying out duties
  • Ensure all staff operates all ground service equipment in a safe and correct manner, in compliance with airline and airport operating procedures.
  • Ensure the Passenger Boarding Bridge is park in the fully retracted position prior to aircraft arrival / departure. In case it’s not, he must notify KBL Tower accordingly.
  • Responsible for ensuring the correct loading of aircraft, in accordance with the loading instruction and in compliance with baggage reconciliation requirements.
  • To safely process and manoeuvre baggage and property, using baggage systems or any other method deemed necessary.
  • Responsible for ensuring inbound baggage delivery times are consistently met.
  • Ensure correct reporting of any incident involving passengers, staff (including third party suppliers), equipment or aircraft.
  • Ensuring airline, airport and company normal operating procedures and processes are effectively implemented and comply with directives as set by the ACAA.
  • To ensure any delays incurred are reported. 
  • To lead by example, identify recurring trends and implement corrective actions.
  • Staff coaching, reviews and appraisals. Team and individual development.
  • To ensure the ramp area is checked for FOD before, during and after aircraft use the stand. 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, social sciences and other related fields is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in each field.
  • The incumbent should have ground handling, airport operations and airline industry knowledge.
  • Having airport training courses and certificates is an advantage.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
  • Sound understanding of Afghanistan labor law, human resources processes, and practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in English, Dari/Pashto – written and spoken.
