Women Activities & Social Service Association (WASSA) was established in 2002 in Afghanistan as a non-governmental organization, committed to seeking ways for women's empowerment in Afghanistan. Job Descriptions:

  1. Ascertain that all commodities are of the correct quantity and quality as specified on the waybill, and promptly record any shortages, damages, or losses. Ensure proper use of the Last Mile Assurance (LMA) system in accordance with established guidelines
  2. Record all quantities delivered short (missing), quantities lost in transit, and damaged quantities as soon as possible (In the field and FDP). All observations must be documented as soon as possible.
  3. Responsible for ensuring that all necessary distribution equipment, such as forms, ropes, banners, plastic sheets, measuring devices, and so on, is available at the distribution center.
  4. Stocks should be well-ventilated and kept at the correct temperature and humidity.
  5. Items should be stacked in an organized manner, following the guidelines.
  6. Stocks should be organized logically and neatly.
  7. Ensures that the warehouse facilities are supplied with related equipment and consumables (stock cards, Stake Card, physical count, Stock book, cardboard boxes, adhesive tape, ladders, trolleys etc.)
  8. Ensure that all tally documents and beneficiary lists are properly completed and returned to the office for safe storage.
  9. Ensure accurate accounting of all commodities received and distributed at FDP.
  10. Ensure all financial documents related to daily laborers and offloading laborers related to the FDP.
  11. Assure proper distribution of WFP Food and other Materials.

Job Requirements:

  • Prospective candidates should have a  High school diploma , Bachelor's degree or higher in related field.
  • Candidates must also have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • It's valuable to have prior experience of WFP projects and food distribution.
  • Ability of speaking reading and writing with in local languages (Dari and Pashto) as well as English.
  • Strong communication skills required
  • Computer skills required particularly Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel to various districts in the respective provinces
  • Experience: Incumbent should carry 2 years of experience in area of data collection, surveys, needs assessments, field implementation. KoBo Collect, ODK Collect.
  • Good knowledge of communication and building relations.
  • Understand community concepts and behavior.
  • High flexibility and accept the position challenge.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet the deadlines.
  • Able Work to LESS Application.
