Bu Ali Rehabilitation and Aid Network (BARAN) is a nongovernmental, non-political and independent organization. BARAN has been established in 27.7.2006 registered with the Ministry of Economy (MoEc), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Ministry of Education (MoE) , Ministry of labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD), Ministry of Justice (MoJ) in order to deliver standard health care, social and educational services including conducting researches. Special attention is given for the community development by promoting capacity building programs.
Puropose of the Position:
The Provincial/Regional Hospital Director is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic management, and operational oversight of the hospital under BARAN’s health programs, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered services in line with national BPHS/EPHS standards and BARAN’s organizational policies.
Duities and Responsibilities:
• Provide overall leadership and direction for hospital operations.
• Ensure compliance with MoPH policies, BPHS/EPHS standards, and BARAN protocols.
• Develop and implement hospital annual operational plans and budgets.
• Ensure quality clinical care across all hospital departments (IPD, OPD, Emergency, Surgery, Maternity, Diagnostics, etc.).
• Establish and monitor clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
• Ensure 24/7 readiness for emergency and referral services.
• Supervise and support department heads and senior medical staff.
• Facilitate staff recruitment, performance evaluation, and capacity building in coordination with BARAN HR.
• Foster teamwork and professional development among hospital staff.
• Manage hospital budget, expenditures, and cost-effective use of resources.
• Ensure availability of medicines, medical equipment, and supplies in collaboration with BARAN’s logistics team.
• Oversee proper maintenance of hospital infrastructure and equipment.
